Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Welcome to WhereToWatchSport (“Where2Watch,” “W2W,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by WhereToWatchSport.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

The Service is operated independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any football federation, any professional sports league, or any broadcasting or streaming provider.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

1.2 Venue Operator Accounts

If you create a Venue Operator account, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to act on behalf of the venue or business you are claiming or managing. You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a Venue Operator.

1.3 Account Restrictions

You may not use the Service if you have previously been suspended or removed from the Service for violating these Terms.

2. Description of Service

2.1 What We Provide

WhereToWatchSport is a fan-powered, two-sided discovery platform that helps sports fans find nearby venues (bars, restaurants, pubs, and other establishments) showing specific live sporting events. We aggregate publicly available match schedules and allow venue operators and fans to contribute venue information, match screening confirmations, reviews, and ratings.

2.2 Two User Types

The Service serves two primary user categories:

Fans — Individuals who use the Service to discover venues showing live sporting events, submit reviews, provide match screening confirmations, and contribute venue information. Fans may browse anonymously or create an optional account for enhanced features.

Venue Operators — Business owners or authorized representatives who claim and manage venue listings, provide match screening schedules, create promotions, and access analytics about their listings.

2.3 What We Do Not Provide

The Service does not stream, broadcast, or rebroadcast any sporting event. We do not operate, own, or manage any venues listed on the platform. We are not a ticketing, booking, or reservation service. We do not sell food, beverages, or alcoholic drinks.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

Certain features of the Service require email-based authentication through a one-time passcode (“OTP”) system. You are not required to create an account to browse venue and match information.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, including any OTP codes sent to your email. You agree to notify us immediately at support@wheretowatchsport.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during account registration and to keep such information up to date. Venue Operators specifically agree to provide truthful business information including venue name, address, operating hours, contact details, and match screening schedules.

3.4 One Account Per Person

You may not create or maintain multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing these Terms, manipulating the Service, or evading enforcement actions. Venue Operators may manage multiple venue listings under a single account where authorized.

3.5 Account Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@wheretowatchsport.com. Upon closure, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Certain information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. User-Contributed Content

4.1 Types of User Content

Users may submit various types of content to the Service, including but not limited to: venue listings and submissions, reviews and ratings, match screening confirmations (“I’m watching here” reports), photos, text-based reports and tips, and promotional content (for Venue Operators).

4.2 License Grant

By submitting content to the Service, you grant WhereToWatchSport a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your content in connection with the Service, including for promotional, analytical, and operational purposes.

4.3 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit, subject to the license granted above. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit such content and to grant the foregoing license.

4.4 Content Standards

You agree that all content you submit will:

  • Be based on genuine, firsthand experience (for reviews and confirmations)
  • Be accurate, truthful, and not misleading
  • Not infringe upon or violate any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Not be false, defamatory, libelous, obscene, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Not contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

4.5 Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, edit, remove, or disable access to any user content at our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice. This includes content that we believe violates these Terms, is potentially harmful, or is otherwise objectionable.

4.6 No Compensation for Content

Users submit content voluntarily and will not receive compensation from WhereToWatchSport for content submissions, unless separately agreed in writing. Reviews, confirmations, and venue submissions are contributed on a non-commercial, community-driven basis.

5. Venue Information and Accuracy

5.1 No Guarantee of Match Screening

While we strive to provide accurate venue and match information, WhereToWatchSport does not guarantee that any venue will be showing a particular match at any given time. Match schedules may change, venues may alter their plans, and technical issues may affect availability.

5.2 Trust and Match Signals

A “Verified” badge indicates an approved listing with a verified, active operator claim. A “Confirmed” badge indicates that the venue operator marked a specific scheduled or live match as showing. Fan check-ins are separate social proof. These signals do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement by WhereToWatchSport. We strongly recommend contacting a venue directly to confirm screening before visiting.

5.3 Venue Operator Responsibility

Venue Operators who claim listings are responsible for the accuracy of their venue information, including operating hours, contact details, amenities, photos, match screening schedules, and promotions. Venue Operators acknowledge that inaccurate information may result in a poor fan experience and potential removal or suspension of their listing.

5.4 Third-Party Data

Match schedules and competition data are sourced from third-party providers (including but not limited to Football-Data.org and ESPN) and are presented for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data.

6. Premium Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Premium Features

Venue Operators may purchase a Premium subscription for enhanced features, including but not limited to: featured placement in search results, expanded analytics and performance insights, additional match-day promotions, city benchmarking data, and priority support. Verified status is based on an approved operator claim and is not purchased.

6.2 Pricing and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. Current pricing is displayed on the Service and may be updated from time to time. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your designated payment method for recurring subscription fees.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your Venue Operator dashboard or by contacting us at support@wheretowatchsport.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until that date. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

6.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of price increases. Continued use of the Premium service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6.5 No Guarantee of Business Outcomes

Featured placement and Premium visibility features do not guarantee any specific business outcome, including increased foot traffic, revenue, or customer engagement. Premium benefits relate solely to enhanced digital features within the Service.

6.6 Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at support@wheretowatchsport.com within 30 days of the charge. We will work with you and our payment processor to resolve billing disputes.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to, and will not assist, encourage, or enable others to:

7.1 Review and Confirmation Abuse

  • Submit false, fabricated, or misleading reviews, ratings, or confirmations

  • Coordinate with others to manipulate venue ratings or confirmations

  • Manipulate venue rankings or search results through artificial means
  • Create fake venue listings

7.3 Data Misuse

  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise systematically extract data from the Service by automated means (bots, spiders, scrapers) without express written consent
  • Use the Service to compile, verify, or supplement your own or any third-party’s venue database, mailing list, or business directory
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service’s data, match schedules, or venue information

7.4 Platform Abuse

  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limiting, or access controls
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Create multiple accounts to evade bans, circumvent restrictions, or otherwise abuse the Service
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service’s infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Upload or transmit viruses, worms, or other malicious code

7.5 Harassment and Harmful Conduct

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully other users, venue operators, or staff
  • Post content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Use the Service to stalk or invade the privacy of others

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 WhereToWatchSport Property

The WhereToWatchSport name, logo, brand identity, design elements, original content, software, algorithms, and compilation of data are the property of WhereToWatchSport or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Team names, league names, competition names, logos, and trademarks referenced in the Service belong to their respective rights holders (including but not limited to FIFA, the Premier League, UEFA, NFL, NBA, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and NCAA). Such marks are used solely for informational, non-commercial, fan-oriented identification purposes in accordance with fair use principles. The Service does not claim any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from any sports organization, league, team, or broadcaster.

8.3 Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@wheretowatchsport.com with the following information: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WhereToWatchSport disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and title.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Venue information, match schedules, or user-contributed content is accurate, complete, reliable, or current
  • Any particular venue will be showing any particular sporting event
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • Any defects or errors in the Service will be corrected

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Exclusion of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WHERETOWATCHSPORT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, business opportunities, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.2 Liability Cap

To the extent that any limitation on liability is found unenforceable, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you have paid to WhereToWatchSport in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

10.3 Basis of the Bargain

The disclaimers and limitations in this section reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and are a fundamental part of the agreement between you and WhereToWatchSport. The Service would not be provided to you without these limitations.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WhereToWatchSport, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your user content, including any claims that your content infringes or violates any third-party rights
  • Your interactions with any venue, venue operator, or other user, whether online or offline
  • Any products or services offered by a venue listed on the Service
  • Your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@wheretowatchsport.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve any dispute within thirty (30) days of receiving your notice.

12.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, as modified by these Terms. The arbitration shall take place in the District of Columbia, or at another location mutually agreed upon by the parties, or via telephone or video conference if permitted by the arbitrator.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND WHERETOWATCHSPORT AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.

12.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property rights. Either party may also bring claims in small claims court if the claims qualify.

12.5 Opt-Out

You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to support@wheretowatchsport.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and including your name, email address, and a clear statement of your intent to opt out.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the extent that litigation is permitted under these Terms, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in the District of Columbia.

14. Termination

14.1 Termination by WhereToWatchSport

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, and without liability to you. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, harmful conduct toward other users, extended inactivity, or at our sole discretion.

14.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination: (a) all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms immediately cease; (b) you must cease all use of the Service; (c) any outstanding payment obligations remain due; and (d) the following sections survive termination: Section 4.2 (License Grant), Section 8 (Intellectual Property), Section 9 (Disclaimer of Warranties), Section 10 (Limitation of Liability), Section 11 (Indemnification), Section 12 (Dispute Resolution), Section 13 (Governing Law), and this Section 14.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable subscription agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and WhereToWatchSport with respect to the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or communications.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of WhereToWatchSport.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

15.5 Notices

We may provide notices to you by posting on the Service, sending an email to the address associated with your account, or through other reasonable means. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

WhereToWatchSport shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, government actions, infrastructure failures, or interruptions in third-party services.

15.7 No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms are for the sole benefit of you and WhereToWatchSport and do not confer third-party beneficiary rights upon any other person or entity.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice through the Service or via email.
